Benabderrahmane received in Riyadh by China’s President

 
ALGIERS-Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane was received Friday by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of the Sino-Arab Cooperation and Development Summit, held in the Saudi capital Riyadh, said the Prime Minister's Office in a statement.
"The Prime Minister, Aimene Benabderrahmane was received Friday by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of the Sino-Arab Summit on Cooperation and Development, which closed today in Riyadh, in his presence as a representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune," said the statement.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chinese president "highly commended the historic relations of solidarity and cooperation between the two countries, welcoming the level achieved by bilateral cooperation under the Algeria-China strategic partnership, signed by the two parties in 2014," said the same source.
He also affirmed "the full willingness of his country to deepen and diversify this partnership to include new areas, in addition to the existing important cooperation in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, mining and other forms of fruitful cooperation to which both sides are committed."
On this occasion, President Xi Jinping also welcomed "the role of Algeria in the region and reaffirmed China's support for its efforts to achieve stability and promote development" based on his belief in Algeria's farsightedness and the convergence of views between the two countries.
Xi Jinping instructed the Prime Minister to convey "his sincere greetings to President Tebboune, as well as his congratulations on the success of the Arab Summit and on brilliantly chairing the Council of the Arab League at the Summit level with brilliance.”
China’s president expressed "his willingness to meet with President Tebboune in China, to further boost the strategic partnership between the two countries," according to the statement.
The PM conveyed "greetings from President Tebboune to the Chinese President, as well as his heartfelt congratulations on his re-election as head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for a third term," which shows the success of his policies and the support they enjoy, in addition to the success of the Sino-Arab Summit and his determination to raise Algeria-China relations to the highest levels.
"Algeria shares with China a common history rich in positions of solidarity, which is a solid basis for the will of the leaders of both countries to deepen the strategic partnership and serve the goals of socio-economic development in both countries," he said.
During this meeting, the two sides welcomed the Sino-Arab Summit, expressing their determination to use this space of cooperation to serve the interests of both parties, and exchange support on issues of importance to both parties, the statement said.

Benabderrahmane represents President Tebboune in Arab-China Summit in Riyadh
ALGIERS- Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane arrived Thursday evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to take part in the Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development Friday, as representative of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
"In his capacity as representative of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane arrived Thursday evening (8 December 2022) in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend the Arab-China Summit for Cooperation and Development, scheduled for 9 December 2022," the statement said.
The prime minister was accompanied by the minister of Industry, Ahmed
Zeghdar, and the minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, according to the statement. 
 
China-Arab Summit: Prime Minister discusses, in Riyadh, with Lebanese counterpart
 
 
ALGIERS- Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane held Friday, in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), discussions with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nadjib Mikati, on the sidelines of the China-Arab Summit, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
 
“As part of his participation, as the representative of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Prime Minister Benabderrahmane held talks with his Lebanese counterpart Nadjib Mikati, on the sidelines of the China-Arab Summit for Cooperation and Development, held in Riyadh,” said the source.
 
“On this occasion, Mikati congratulated Algeria for the success of the Arab Summit that it hosted” in November, extending his tanks to “President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his efforts to reach important results for the joint Arab action and key issues of the Arab Nation.”
 
“The two sides said they are proud of the fraternity and solidarity ties between the two brotherly countries, and discussed the state and prospects of the development of the cooperation in various fields, notably through the activation of bilateral mechanisms and the intensification of contacts between the two sides,” the statement added.
 
The meeting was held “in the presence of Minister of Industry Ahmed Zaghdar and Minister of Trade and Exports Promotion Kamel Rezig,” the statement concluded.
 
 
China-Arab Summit: Prime Minister holds, in Riyadh, talks with Iraqi counterpart
 
 
ALGIERS- Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane held Friday, in Riyadh, discussions with his Iraqi counterpart Mohamed Chia al-Soudani, on the sidelines of the China-Arab Summit for Cooperation and Development, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
 
“Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Chia al-Soudan congratulated Algeria on the successful organization of the Arab Summit, held last November,” expressing his wish to “achieve its conclusions in the service of the joint Arab action and key issues of the Arab world,” said the source.
 
The two ministers welcomed the historical ties of fraternity and solidarity between Iraq and Algeria, affirming their willingness to strengthen the bilateral relations in various fields, notably through the activation of the bilateral cooperation mechanisms, notably the joint cooperation committee,” according to the source.
 
The meeting was held in the presence of “Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar and Minister of Trade and Exports Promotion Kamel Rezig,” said the source.
