Arab Youth Tourism Exhibition aims to establish “promising” tourism culture
 
BOUMERDES- The Arab Youth Tourism Exhibition aims to establish a “promising” tourism culture among young people and allows an exchange of expertise and an evaluation of experiences between the associations of Arab youth centers, Minister of Youth and Sports Abderrezak Sebgag said Wednesday in Boumerdes.
 
This event, which is a space of meeting for players of youth tourism of different Arab countries, affirms “the Algerian State’s commitment to serving young people, by supporting their initiatives and involving them in the achievement of the sustainable development goals,” said the minister who kicked off the Arab Youth Tourism Exhibition, to which participated several Arab countries.
 
Chairman of Arab Union of Youth Centers Mohammad al-Kharboush (Saudi Arabia) attended this event’s opening ceremony, whose 4^th edition coincides with the 60^th anniversary of Algeria’s independence.
 
In his speech, al-Kharboush hailed the efforts made by Algeria to support young people’s initiatives in various fields, adding that this meeting enables Arab young people to discover tourism and historical monuments as well as the vestiges of different civilizations that marked Algeria’s history throughout the centuries.
 
The opening ceremony was held in the presence of the head of the Higher Youth Council (CSJ) Mustapha Hidaoui, of Secretary General of the Union Ashraf Ali Othman from Egypt, chairman of the Algerian Federation of Youth Centers El-Hadi Benmansour, local authorities, representatives of civil society associations, as well as national sports personalities.
