Arkab launches exploitation works of Gara Djebilet iron mine

TINDOUF-Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab launched on Saturday the exploitation works of the Gara Djebilet iron mine (Tindouf), within the framework of his visit to this province.
The launch of the works took place in the western area of Gara Djebilet where the experimental stage for the exploitation of this mine will take place.
Gara Djebilet-Ouest stretches over one third of the total area of the mine (15,000 ha).
According to the explanations provided to the Minister, the reserves of the western area are about 1 billion tons of iron.
