Lamamra on working visit to Azerbaijan as President Tebboune's special envoy

 
ALGIERS- The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, arrived Tuesday in Baku, Azerbaijan, for a two-day working visit as a special envoy of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the ministry said in a statement.
 
"As a special envoy of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, arrived Tuesday afternoon in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, for a two-day working visit," the statement said.
 
"The head of the Algerian diplomacy will confer with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, and will meet the country's higher authorities, with whom he will discuss the bilateral relations and other regional and international issues of common interest."
 
A member of OPEC+, the Republic of Azerbaijan chairs, until the end of 2023, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and takes part in the works of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
