Vostok 2022: ANP takes part in Command, General Staff Strategic Military Exercises in Russia

 
ALGIERS-People's National Army (ANP) is taking part in the Command and General Staff strategic military exercises “Vostok-2022,” which began on Wednesday in Russia, said the Ministry of National Defense in a statement on Thursday.
 
"As part of the Command and General Staff strategic military exercise “Vostok-2022,” hosted by Russia from 01 to 07 September 2022, and which was marked by the participation of the armies from 13 countries including Algeria, Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek YEVKUROV, supervised the official opening ceremony of this exercise, August 31st 2022,” said the same source.
 
“The participation of the People's National Army, represented by a combat unit under the Land Forces, is an opportunity to exchange and share experiences with foreign armies, as well as to improve the execution of joint missions,” the statement concluded.
