International conference on support for SADR: Participants reiterate solidarity with Sahrawi people

 
 
 
CHAHID EL-HAFED, (Sahrawi Refugee Camps)- Representatives of foreign delegations to an international conference on support for the Western Sahara issue, held Saturday at the ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), reiterated their unconditional solidarity with the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
 
The participants, representing progressive movements in Europe and Latin America, tackled on the first day of the conference themes relating to Western Sahara people's legitimate struggle for their independence and Morocco's plunder of Sahrawi natural resources.
 
In an address, the representative of the International Progressive Left movement, Pablo de la Vega, said the "suffering of Western Sahara people for more than 47 years is a shame for the international community, the United Nations and its Security Council."
 
De la Vega called for an urgent action to allow Western Sahara people to achieve self-determination
