Best voluntary work in Arab world: Algeria wins His Highness Sheikh Issa Bin Ali Al Khalifa Award
ALGIERS- Algeria won Saturday, in Manama (Bahrain), His Highness Sheikh Issa Bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Best Volunteer Work, according to a statement of the Algerian Youth Network.
The Algerian envoy Adel Gana received the Award of His Highness Sheikh Issa Bin Ali Al Khalifa for the best voluntary work in the Arab world, in view of his remarkable work in solidarity, volunteerism and development, particularly by developing the convoys of volunteer doctors organized by the Algerian Youth Network under the patronage of president of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune during three consecutive editions (2020, 2021 and 2022), considered as a model to meditate.
In an address, Adel Gana extended his thanks to the President of the Republic who backed the convoys of volunteer doctors in the three editions, thanking also, in this regard, the event’s organizers for the trust placed in Algeria through this prize, affirming that this victory is a “realistic reflection of Algeria’s authentic ethics.”
The latter enables also “strengthening Algeria’s pioneering position as a civilized country advocating the human values, solidarity, peace, security and stability worldwide, since its strength is based on its multiple objectives in various fields,” according to the source.
The Award’s winner emphasized “Algeria’s move for a new approach based on participation and collective contribution, giving the opportunity to all the players to build a future.”
He also underlined that this is an “acknowledgment of the young people’s contributions, after three long years of work, with an incomparable courage to establish peace and provide healthcare in the face of one of the most tenacious challenges the world is facing.”
