Stressing “the importance of the civil society whose role, if fully performed, will further the joint Arab action,” the minister affirmed that the action of the Arab civil societies emanates from “a great strength” thanks to the participation of the Arab elites, young people and women, and especially as it paves the way for the modernization of the joint Arab action.”
“I underlined, through the Intergenerational Forum on the Joint Arab Action Support, held in Oran, that this popular dimension is likely to open prospects to the Arabs related to development in the fields of technology, computer science and others,” he said.
Regarding “the Declaration of Algiers” that will be reached at the end of the works of the Arab Summit, Lamamra said that this document will have a prominent role in the development of the joint Arab action.
