The main decisions are about “the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) and the Arab Customs Union (ACU) to facilitate the agricultural trade,” he said.
Several decisions concerned also the agricultural production, notably that related to the Arab food security programme that includes nine main points.”
It was also decided, according to the source, to “increase the agricultural production and crop productivity, to optimize the implemented agricultural systems, encourage trading, and to take the necessary measures to end food waste.”
