Arkab receives vice-president of Chinese company “Genertec CNTIC”

 
ALGIERS- Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab received Sunday, in Algiers, Vice-President of the Chinese company “Genertec CNTIC” Chen Bo, with whom he discussed investment and partnership opportunities, said a ministerial statement.
 
During this meeting, the minister welcomed the traditional relations with the Chinese companies, underscoring the signing in May 2022 of an agreement on the construction of Methyl Tert Butyl Ether plant with Sonatrach group, said the source.
 
In this regard, the minister presented the sector’s development plan as well as investment and partnership opportunities between the two countries’ companies in the fields of energy and mines, with better investment attractiveness, said the source.
 
Arkab insisted on the importance his ministerial department gives to the development of mutually beneficial partnerships focusing on projects involving the mastery of production technologies, the transfer of know-how and expertise, notably in the fields of hydrocarbons, petrochemistry, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
