International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People Algeria’s total solidarity with struggle of Palestinian people

ALGIERS- The participants in the celebration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People stressed Tuesday, in Algiers, Algeria’s principled and total solidarity with the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupation, until the establishment of the independent State of Palestine with al-Quds as capital, welcoming the initiative of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the unification of the ranks of the Palestinian factions.
Participating in a solidarity sit-in, “to reaffirm the Algerian-Palestinian cohesion,” organized by the Association “Mechaal Eshaheed” at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria, Palestine’s ambassador to Algiers Fyaez Abu Aita said that “Algeria’s stance vis-à-vis the Palestinian cause is completely different from all the other positions.”
Abu Aita underlined that late Palestinian president Yasser Arafat proclaimed the establishment of the State of Palestine from Algeria and with the initiative of President Tebboune, “The Declaration of Algiers” was launched to reunify the Palestinian factions, which underlined that Algeria is taking practical moves to stand by the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian diplomat welcomed Algeria’s courageous positions, affirming that “the national line it represents, alongside some Arab States, is the line which will triumph.”
After extending his thanks to Algeria for the support positions to the Palestinian cause, the ambassador said that the Palestinian people, despite “the disappointment” they are experiencing at the international level and almost abandoned and fighting against the Zionist occupation, will continue their struggle for the establishment of a Palestinian State with al-Quds as capital and regardless of the duration of the battle, the Palestinians will continue the resistance until victory.”
