This award is given each year to personalities, institutions and countries that have contributed to the peace and reconciliation in Mali.
It is for the important role it plays in the achievement of peace and stability in Mali that Algeria was chosen by the readers of this magazine, which is distributed in Mali and five other countries in West Africa.
While receiving this trophy, the Algerian ambassador to Mali thanked the event's organizers for the tribute paid to Algeria for its fight for peace and reconciliation and living together in Mali, and in the entire Sahel region.
On this occasion, he reiterated the firm commitment of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, "to spare no effort to ensure that peace and stability are quickly restored in Mali, in respect of the unity and integrity of its territory.
The diplomat further stressed the "deep conviction" of Algeria in the ability of Malian people "to overcome by itself its current difficulties and spread reconciliation and peace among all its children.
