General Chanegriha receives White House Coordinator for Middle East, North Africa
ALGIERS- General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP), received Tuesday in audience, White House Coordinator for Middle East, North Africa, Brett H. McGurk, said a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN).
“General Said Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, received in audience, on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, at the headquarters of the People's National Army, White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, Brett H. McGurk, and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Yael Lempert,” the statement said.
“During this meeting, which was attended by General Officers of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the People's National Army, as well as members of the American military delegation, the two parties held discussions on the state of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.”
“They also discussed the means of its consolidation as well as the security context at the international and regional levels,” added the same source.
According to the source, “the meeting was an opportunity to exchange analyses and perspectives on issues of common interest.”
