Steel industry: Gara Djebilet ＂lever for timplementation of future mega projects

TIPASA- Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zaghdar, said Saturday from Tipasa, that the strategic project of exploitation of the mine Gara Djebilet in Tindouf is "a lever" of the steel industry in Algeria that will promote "the implementation of mega projects in the future.
"The strategic project of exploitation of the mine Gara Djebilet in Tindouf will be a lever of the steel industry in Algeria and will promote the implementation of mega projects, such as strengthening the rail network in Algeria," Zaghdar told the press, on the sidelines of the reception of the first marine tug of local manufacture to accompany the docking of ships transporting fuel he supervised in Bouharoun (Tipasa), accompanied by Ministers of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab and Transport, Kamel Beldjoud.
After the launch of the production of marine steel plates by the complex of El Hadjar, this project will contribute in the future with the development of production to strengthen the steel industry in Algeria, which will allow the realization of mega projects, such as the railway network, the manufacture of containers, gas pipelines and pipelines, added the Minister.
Zaghdar said that the year 2023 will mark "the effective takeoff of the national industry" after the efforts made in 2022 by the services of his department in coordination with other ministerial departments for "the removal of obstacles that prevented the launch of several projects.
