Algeria is concerned about extent of corruption in European Parliament, says Boughali

 
ALGIERS-The Bureau of the People's National Assembly (Lower House), meeting under the chairmanship of the president of the assembly, Brahim Boughali, expressed Wednesday its deep concern about the serious information of investigations on the extent of corruption in the European Parliament in the service of projects breaching the law and international legality," said the Lower House in a statement.

These actions are aimed at "harming the reputation of countries, including the just cause of the Sahrawi people and the imperative decolonization of the last colony in Africa," said the source.
Also, the Bureau called for "firm measures to stop these immoral actions and take all legal and procedural measures to ensure that they do not recur in the future.”
The Lower House Bureau condemned, once again, "the systemic violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, the incursion of the holy places by the Zionist occupation forces and their desecration", calling on "freedom-loving parliamentarians to take a stand in favor of international legitimacy and law to enable the Palestinian people to regain their despoiled rights.”
The Bureau began the work of the meeting by "discussing the oral and written questions to be submitted to the Government.”
 
Corruption in EP: Revelations on Morocco are only tip of iceberg
"This is only the tip of the iceberg because there are several MEPs and I will say even other European institutions that are involved in these networks (of corruption)," said Sidati in a statement to APS on the sidelines of the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front held from 13 to 17 January in the province of Dakhla, in the Sahrawi refugee camps.

The representative of the Polisario Front in France regretted the fact "that instead of continuing on the basis of the values of democracy, freedom and the right of peoples to self-determination, the position of MEPs and some European institutions have deviated.”
In addition to several MEPs, committees and commissions of the European Parliament are also involved in these corruption cases, referring for example to the Committees on Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Fisheries, and Agriculture.
