President Tebboune receives Secretary of Fatah Movement’s Central Committee

 
ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Sunday, in Algiers, the Secretary of the Central Committee of Fatah Movement Jibril Rajoub, special envoy of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
 
The audience was held at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra and Principal Private Secretary to the Presidency of the Republic Abdelaziz Khellaf.
 
Lamamra receives secretary of Central Committee of Fatah movement, Jibril Rajoub
ALGIERS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra received, Saturday at the headquarters of the Ministry, the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Jibril Rajoub.
At the end of the meeting, Jibril Rajoub welcomed the initiative of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune to end the division and achieve the Palestinian national unity, which is a necessary condition for the settlement of the Palestinian state.
He emphasized the commitment of the Fatah movement to this initiative which ensures the settlement of the Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.
Given the tragic events that the Palestinians are experiencing as a result of Zionist violations, Rajoub recalled that the Palestinian people are leading a permanent struggle against "the fascist and racist occupation that targets us in Palestine, land, people, history and sacred places."
Referring to the African Nations Championship (CHAN-2022), whose games are hosted at the Nelson Mandela stadium in Baraki (Algiers), Rajoub thanked President Tebboune who " urged to use sport as a means of struggle as was the case for the FLN team " and stressed Algeria's readiness to host the sports events of Palestinian teams in support of the Palestinian cause.
Hailing Algeria for organizing this sports event, he recalled that "the name of the stadium has a deep symbolism in the hearts of Algerians and Palestinians.
