Algeria strongly condemns mosque attack in Pakistan
ALGIERS- Algeria has strongly condemned the attack which targeted Monday a mosque in Pakistan, leaving dozens dead and injured, reiterating its call to strengthen the action at the regional and international levels for the eradication of the scourge of terrorism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad said Tuesday in a statement.
“Algeria strongly condemns the suicide attack which targeted on Monday a mosque in the Pakistani city Peshawar, leaving dozens dead and injured,” said the source.
“In these painful circumstances, Algeria extends its heartfelt condolences to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, leaders and people, as well as its deep compassion to the families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured,” added the source.
“While expressing its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, terrorism and attack on places of worship, regardless of the reasons, Algeria reiterates its call to strengthen the action at the regional and international levels for the eradication of the scourge of terrorism which has been negatively affecting peace, security and development in the world,” according to the source.
