The two sides "expressed satisfaction with the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and with their special historical relations."

Emerging from the meeting with Lamamra, the speaker of the Kenyan Parliament told reporters that his country was supporting the rights of the peoples of Africa to live freely and in peace, including the rights of Western Sahara people's legitimate right to self-determination.
He added that the colonisation of one people in Africa had an impact on all the countries of the continent.
Wetangula recalled the efforts made by African leaders to step up inter-African cooperation and activate the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), stressing the need for the African countries to be in control of their natural resources and have a more important share in international trade.
